The Valley is Back!

Mad River Antler is proud to announce that we weathered the floods in the Mad River Valley and will be exhibiting at the
41st Mad River Valley Fine Art and Craft Fair in Waitsfield Vermont this weekend September 3 and 4th.
Come on out to support the Valley businesses.

Mad River Antler will be donating 20% of their sales from the Craft Fair to the Mad River Valley Hurricane Relief Fund. The MRV Community
Fund has activated a special flood relief fund. We appreciate your donations toward local people and businesses affected by the floods in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. Please visit their web site at www.mrvcommunityfund.org if interested in helping out our beautiful valley.

Mad River Valley 41st Craft Show Announcement

Mad River Antler has collaborated with 2 other businesses in showcasing our creations and other artists from the Valley as well.
We'll once again feature a Post and Beam display created by Alces Post and Beam ( www.alcespostandbeam.com ) in Waitsfield, Vermont.
Moose Walk Studios ( www.moosewalkstudios.com ) in Warren, Vermont will be joining us this year. The Moosewalk Studios features the work of Gary Eckhart and Roarke Sharlow, two accomplished artists who create timeless artwork featuring New England and Vermont landscapes and subjects. All three create the very best Vermont experience you can imagine. So stop by and visit the booth under the BIG tent.

Mad River Antler: Gallery Update

The Bridge Street Emporium will reopen tomorrow Friday, September 2 after cleaning up from the flood. We dodged a bullet for sure compared to the businesses located all around us. We only had a little mud on floor. So we moved everything out, cleaned and rearrange the entire Gallery. Special thanks to Gary Eckhart for coordinating the entire cleanup and a BIG “Thank You!” to all of the people who came out to help.

You can read and view pictures pertaining of Massive cleanup throughout the Mad River Valley and www.valleyreporter.com.

FEEDBACK

We gave Ken quite a difficult task to design and build a lamp to fit a very small surface...just slightly over 6 inches wide. And, on top of that, the shade we chose is very heavy. We are thrilled with the finished product and enjoy it every day. Thanks, Ken. (Nancy & Jess, Warren, VT)

The chandelier exceeded expectations. The quality and craftsmanship are the best we have ever seen. (H. Anderson, Naples, FL)

Ken is very creative in all of his creations. The chandeliers and lamps have perfect symmetry and are well balanced. The new line of chandeliers with the down light are absolutely beautiful. Great job Ken. (L. Jones, Warren, VT)

The piece is gorgeous. I hope that I can wait to give him this gift! I will be buying more of your work in the spring for sure, if not earlier. I like the natural look of the antlers as well. Some artists coat them in so much clear coat that I think it takes away from the beauty of the piece. The natural antler plays into the craftsman style much better. (Johanna, VT)
